Dijit.app General Software License Terms and Conditions

1. Property and Contact

The dijit.app software and website are the property of DIJIT LABS OÜ. All rights to the software belong to Dijit.app. The Client only has a license to use and may not use the Dijit.app brand or its digital platform without express authorization. Email: legal@dijit.app.

The Client or user may not use the Dijit.app tool for purposes other than those specifically authorized, i.e., document and business data management. It is strictly prohibited to access the application for the purpose of copying, transferring or disclosing information relating to its operation, technology or designs to third parties.

2. License of Use

By accepting these terms, Dijit.app grants the Client a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the data and document management software. This license is for business or professional purposes only and does not grant any rights to Dijit.app's intellectual property.

3. Users and Responsibilities

– The license is not available for persons under 18 years of age.

– The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and must update them when necessary.

– The Client must use the software legally and in good faith, respecting the intellectual property rights of Dijit.app.

4. Access and Subaccounts

– Clients can create subaccounts for their employees or clients, who must accept these terms.  

– Clients may invite their advisors to access their accounts, but they remain responsible for compliance with these terms.

5. Obligations of Dijit.app

Dijit.app is committed to maintaining and supporting the software, but is not responsible for interruptions caused by third parties or force majeure. Maintenance tasks will be scheduled outside of business hours when possible.

 

6. Own and Third-Party Services

– Dijit.app offers data reading and extraction, indexing, downloading and document storage services.

– Dijit.app may provide third-party services, but is not responsible for them.

 

7. Validity and Renewal

7.1. Hiring without permanence:

  • Dijit.app's standard service is provided through monthly contracts, automatically renewable for equal periods.
  • To cancel the service, the Client must notify his intention not to renew with a minimum notice of thirty-five (35) calendar days before the next monthly renewal, through the established communication channels.

7.2. Permanent contract:

  • In the event that the Client opts for customized system developments with special economic conditions, the contract will have a minimum initial duration of six (6) months.
  • During this period of permanence, the contract will be automatically renewed for monthly periods at the end of the initial six (6) months.
  • In order not to renew the contract at the end of the initial stay period, the Client must notify his intention at least thirty (30) calendar days in advance.

7.3. Modifications:

    • Dijit.app reserves the right to modify the conditions of the service, notifying the Client at least thirty (30) calendar days before they come into effect.
    • If the Client does not accept the new conditions, he/she may terminate the contract without penalty by notifying us before the date the changes come into effect.

 

8. Payments and Billing

– Payments can be monthly or annual, made in advance.  

– Dijit.app may offer additional services or system customizations upon customer request at extra cost.  

– Prices may be updated 30 days in advance. 

– Non-payments or debts due to early termination will be managed through a duly accredited company specialising in debt management and recovery.

   

9. Updates and New Services

Dijit.app may modify the software to improve its performance or add new features. The Client will be duly informed about these updates.

 

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights to the software belong to Dijit.app. The Client only has a license to use it and may not use the Dijit trademark without express authorization. The Client or user may not use the Dijit.app software for purposes other than those specifically authorized, i.e. business data and document management. Accessing the application for the purpose of copying, transferring or disclosing information regarding its operation, technology or designs to third parties is strictly prohibited.

 

 11. Suspension and Termination

Dijit.app may suspend service for breach of these terms.  

 

12. Data Protection

The Client's data will be treated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, please consult our Privacy Policy.  

 

13. Limitation of Liability

Dijit.app shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of data or any other consequential damages. Dijit.app's total liability shall, in any case, not exceed the amount paid by the Client in the month preceding the event giving rise to the damage.

 

14. Notifications

Communications must be made in writing to the addresses provided during the hiring process.  

 

15. Legislation and Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by European law and any dispute will be submitted to the relevant European courts.
