Documentation/Dashboard and reports
Dashboard and reports
The dashboard answers three questions: how much has been processed, how much it adds up to and who you work with. Everything it shows depends on the two filters in force: the date range and the project.
What each person looks at
| If you care about… | Look at… |
|---|---|
| How much of the plan is left | Documents and pages, and the account's plan screen. |
| How much has been spent | The purchase and expense summaries. |
| Who to negotiate with | The top suppliers, exported to Excel. |
| Which items to watch | The top of the most-bought items. |
| How a project is going | The dashboard filtered on that project. |
Three things worth knowing first
Deleted documents still count towards usage. Deleting gets no allowance back.
Purchases and delivery notes do not add together: they are the same goods at two different moments.
The dashboard does not refresh itself. After processing new documents you have to press refresh.
The rankings are worked out from delivery notes
Both the top suppliers and the top items come out of the delivery notes, not the invoices. It is the closest thing to what actually comes into the warehouse, but it has a consequence: if your company does not process delivery notes, those two blocks will be empty.
And on both, the chart shows ten but the export brings the complete list.
