Changing plan and cancelling

Moving up a plan you do yourself, in the application, and it takes effect at once. Moving down and cancelling go through a request, on the terms set out below.

Moving up a plan

On the My plan screen, Change plan lists the plans above the one you are on. The one in force is marked as your current plan.

The change is immediate: the allowance grows there and then, without waiting for the period to renew.

Confirming it, and what you pay

Before anything happens the application asks you to confirm, and tells you what it will cost: you are charged the difference for the rest of the current period, pro rata.

The new limit and the amount are synchronised with the payment provider automatically. When it goes through, the screen confirms the plan has changed; if it cannot go through, it tells you, and your subscription is left as it was.

Already on the top plan

When the account is already on the highest plan the application offers, the screen says so and gives you nothing to upgrade to. Bigger volumes are arranged with the sales team.

Moving down a plan

You cannot do this yourself. The screen offers Request a plan reduction, which raises a request with the administration team carrying the details of your current plan.

Cancelling

The terms, as shown on the screen itself:

NoticeFive days at least. You keep access for that period, whether you use it or not.
RenewalThe subscription renews automatically every month until you ask to cancel.
PaymentTaken in advance.

Refunds

The screen links through to the terms and conditions, where the full wording sits.

Group companies

In a company that sits under a parent, changing plan and managing billing are not shown: the plan and the allowance belong to the group and the main account runs them.
