Partner programme
The partner programme lets consultancies, software resellers, service firms and accountancy practices take Dijit.app to their own clients. This page explains how the relationship works: what arrangements there are, whose client it is, who provides support and what each side commits to.
The commercial terms — what a partner earns, the discounts, the plans and how payment works — are not published here. They are discussed directly and set out in the partner agreement signed between the two parties.

The three arrangements
They differ in one thing, from which everything else follows: whose client it is.
| Arrangement | What the partner does | Whose client | Who invoices them |
|---|---|---|---|
| Referrer | Introduces the client to Dijit.app. | Dijit.app's | Dijit.app |
| Reseller | Sells the official plans to their clients. | The partner's | The partner |
| Wholesaler | Buys volume and builds packages of their own. | The partner's | The partner |
Referrer
The partner makes the introduction and that is where their part ends: the client signs up with Dijit.app directly, and Dijit.app is who serves and invoices them.
Reseller
The partner sells the official plans as they are; they cannot build plans of their own. They set their own price to their client, invoice them, and keep the whole commercial relationship. A client's change of plan shows on the following invoice.
Wholesaler
The partner buys a volume of credits and shares it out among their clients however they choose, with their own packages and their own prices. Two working rules are worth being clear about:
- Credits are monthly: whatever is not used in the month does not carry over.
- Once the month's credits run out, uploading stops until the volume is increased.
Registering clients
Every new client is registered with Dijit.app before being set up. Three rules follow from that, and they head off the usual disputes:
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Whoever registers first keeps the client | Where two partners introduce the same one, the earlier registration counts. |
| A client registered by a partner is not served around them | On the reseller and wholesaler arrangements, Dijit.app does not sell directly to those clients while the agreement runs. |
| An existing Dijit.app client does not change hands | They do not pass to a partner, unless it is agreed in writing. |
A partner's clients accept Dijit.app's terms and conditions when they sign up, like any other user.
Who provides support
| Matter | Who handles it |
|---|---|
| Technical support and using the application | Dijit.app, with the same care as for its direct clients. |
| Price, invoicing, signing up and cancelling | The partner, with their client. |
To be able to provide that support, the partner passes Dijit.app their clients' contact details. Support is asked for the way any user asks for it, from the assistant in the application: see Dijit IA.
Integrations
Depending on the integration with the ERP or management system, it may be free or it may carry a cost. It is contracted separately from the plan and handled case by case. What each integration does is set out in ERP integrations.
What each side commits to
The partner
- Not to promise features, dates or guarantees that Dijit.app does not offer.
- To use the Dijit.app name as Dijit.app directs, and not to register similar domains or marks.
- To keep the agreed terms confidential.
Dijit.app
- To serve the partner's clients to the same standard as its own.
- To provide sales material and product training.
- To give 60 days' notice of any change to the terms.
Exclusivity
The programme carries no territorial exclusivity. Dijit.app may work with several partners in the same area.
How long it runs, and ending it
- The agreement runs for a year and renews itself, unless either side gives 60 days' written notice.
- Dijit.app may end it straight away for misuse of the name or for misleading clients.
- When it ends, so does the partner's commercial relationship over their clients: they stop invoicing them and stop earning from them.
The client loses nothing if the agreement with their partner ends: they keep their documents and their access to the service.
Getting started
The programme is set out in a partner agreement signed by both sides, which records the arrangement chosen and the commercial terms.
